TESDA Opens FREE Enrollment for Solar PV Systems Installation NC II

Aspiring solar energy technicians and individuals looking to build a career in the renewable energy industry may now apply for the PV Systems Installation NC II Scholarship Program offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Regional Training Center–National Capital Region (RTC-NCR).

The training program is designed to help learners develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for photovoltaic or solar power systems installation. With the growing demand for renewable and sustainable energy, the program provides an opportunity for qualified applicants to gain industry-relevant technical training.

The scholarship offers several benefits to successful trainees, including free training, free assessment, a training allowance, a training certificate, and the opportunity to earn a National Certificate (NC) upon successfully meeting the program and assessment requirements.

The PV Systems Installation NC II program has a nominal duration of 311 hours and focuses on preparing participants for work related to the installation and development of solar photovoltaic systems.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  1. Photocopy of Birth Certificate
  2. Photocopy of Previous School Record, such as a High School or College Diploma or Transcript of Records
  3. Photocopy of Barangay Clearance or NBI Clearance
  4. Photocopy of a valid government-issued ID with three specimen signatures
  5. Photocopy of a Medical Certificate or Barangay Health Certificate indicating that the applicant is physically fit for TESDA training
  6. Two recent 1×1 ID pictures with a white background and formal attire
  7. Certificate of Indigency

The program supports TESDA’s goal of producing competent, adaptable, and lifelong learners while helping address the growing demand for skilled workers in technical and renewable energy-related industries.
